The other part of the job on Wikipedia, after putting up the article, is to persuade people that the person being covered is "significant".
I'd say the first step is to go an article on contradancing and add a list of "Significant contra dance callers include" *(partial list of WP-worthy callers'') with each called out as a link, which creates a stub entry.
