If you squash you square up so the sides are close together you get a 6
couple longways and Peel the Banana is a common term for describing the
move where, in a longways set, the top couple, followed by the others,
casts and the top couple makes the arch at the bottom and the others
come up under the arch.  Given that your dance is in rectangular
formation and the bottom couple stays still and makes the arch, it might
be better to find a different term.  However, you could still use the
visual imagery of "peeling the banana".
