Yeah, thats the problem.  I cant use RTP because the router that installed 
at the remote location doesnt support port range forwarding, so I can only 
forward 3 ports maximum.  But if I just open 5060 just for SIP hints, and 
continued to use IAX2 for the actual VoIP, that should work, right?

lol, or would I get better off just spending the $100 and getting a new 
router?
I cant get my backtraces to work, but it seems that IAX2 is always involved 
whenever CW crashes.

Just keep in mind that you need RTP open as well, the ports are  settable in 
rtp.conf
