However, it does work OK in non-ECM mode and fails in ECM mode. The ECM exchange looks fine in the early stages. The training data is exchanged and acknowledged OK. When the ECM image data is sent, the far end just seems to ignore it, and after a long time is sends a disconnect. I see no obvious reason why. This is not the first time I have seen exactly this behaviour, but I haven't figured out what goes wrong. This is frustrating.
