Hi,

I am still testing sending faxes, also using some other gateways, but mostly
I get below result:

[Oct 9 08:17:48] > Channel SIP/1.2.3.4-a9a5 was answered.
[Oct 9 08:17:48] -- Executing Set("SIP/1.2.3.4-a9a5",
FAXFILE=/tmp/fax_test.tif)
[Oct 9 08:17:48] -- Executing Set("SIP/1.2.3.4-a9a5", Waittime=60)
[Oct 9 08:17:48] -- Executing TxFAX("SIP/1.2.3.4-a9a5",
/tmp/fax_test.tif,caller)
[Oct 9 08:17:49] WARNING[121916304]: app_txfax.c:449 txfax_audio: Switching
to generator mode
[Oct 9 08:17:55] -- parse_srv: SRV mapped to host sipgate.de, port 5060
[Oct 9 08:17:58] -- Executing NoOp("SIP/1.2.3.4-a9a5", TX:
REMOTESTATIONID is )
[Oct 9 08:17:58] -- Executing NoOp("SIP/1.2.3.4-a9a5", TX: FAXPAGES is
0)
[Oct 9 08:17:58] -- Executing NoOp("SIP/1.2.3.4-a9a5", TX: PHASEESTATUS
is 51)

The only gateway I get some sort of good result is my own AS5300 gateway
(which sort of defeats the purpose as I want to expand my capacity)

What is Phaseestatus 51 ? I can't seem to find this error-code anywhere.
And how can I help to resolve this soonest? I think Steve is on a holiday
:-)

Warmest Regards,
Walter Klomp

You said multi-page, but what you sent is actually just one page.
However, it does work OK in non-ECM mode and fails in ECM mode. The ECM
exchange looks fine in the early stages. The training data is exchanged
and acknowledged OK. When the ECM image data is sent, the far end just
seems to ignore it, and after a long time is sends a disconnect. I see
no obvious reason why. This is not the first time I have seen exactly
this behaviour, but I haven't figured out what goes wrong. This is
frustrating.

Steve
