The only TRUE use for sip t38 switchover is when you prefer to have

The above statement seems to be clear. If i am using a lossy codec on
sip channels then t38 switchover can be used.
In this situation,
Which situation? Lossy codec on sip channel?
FaxDetect *can* actually detect the fax
FaxDetect can still detect on lossy codec on sip channel?
and sometimes
a sip t38 switchover is needed,
BEFORE starting FaxDetect?
even if now RXfax does the same on it's
own ( so sipt38 switchover is not even needed in this case).
So RxFax will do t38 switchover on it's own. Interesting. Under what
circumstances does it do that? So why would one need to do t38
switchover on a sip channel with a lossy codec?
So, please, stop using it everywhere (next step will be removing it).
I'm never going to use t38 switchover if i don't have to. I promise!
Thanks for trying to clarify t38 switchover. I am only breaking up
your sentences above so i can parse them better and be totally clear
about t38 switchover usage, if any.
Peace,
Dan
