Hi everybody I'd like to know how to implement T.37 fax over ip with callweaver...on the wiki (http://www.callweaver.org/wiki/Faxing+with+CallWeaver) only T.38 is explained, i didnt see anything dealing with T.37 .How to send a fax using T.37 with callweaver...
i'm doing an internship in a voip services provider..and we wanna setup a fax over ip ( mail2fax ) platform..i already wrote a script extracting faxes from a mailbox converting them in a tiff format and sending it with callweaver..it's working sometimes not all the time..i enable t38udptlsupport=yes in sip.conf but the debug show that CW is sending it with T.30...so i understand more why it's not working all the time by reading this --> http://www.soft-switch.org/foip.html but in the same article it's writting that T.37 could work well but i dont know how to implement it when i'm putting Set:T38CALL=1 in the file used to invoke TxFax im having in the CLI: Got SIP response 488 "Not acceptable here" back from 213.*.*.* > Channel SIP/0176616***-e23f was never answered. WARNING[3056847792]: cdr.c:540 opbx_cdr_disposition: Cause not handled NOTICE[3056847792]: pbx_spool.c:269 attempt_thread: Call failed to go through, reason 8 I think this is because the channel ( or the gateway ) im using to send the fax is not T.38 capable ( my tutor gave me the channel..my company is working with asterisk to deliver the voip services..) any idea how to deliver T.38 faxes (while most of fax machines and still analog, so need to convert T.38 back to T.30 termination ) would be appreciate, do we need to find a T.38 capable carrier ? a material gateway ? my tutor is not telling me what to do...
