Hi,

I think the problem with 488 not acceptable here is when you try to initiate
a SIP call with T.38 codec, which a Cisco box for instance will not
accept...

Just make the call without T.38=1 and let TxFax and Cisco gateway negotiate
T.38 as per normal.
