Hi Steve, so you are still alive actually :-)

Well, u know what is going to happen there when I complain to them. It
crashes the actual call, not the complete box obviously. Since a 10 year old
AS5300 doesn't have any issues talking to this AS5400 and even some third
party T.38 boxes work flawlessly talking to them, my logical conclusion is
that somewhere spandsp is still broken. How can we fix this without asking
the impossible?

If a Cisco boxes actually crashes, how do you expect me to fix it? 
Complain to them.

We have good success with some revisions of the Cisco code, and trouble 
with others. Cisco seem to break T.38 about as fast as they fix it.
