But voice call is ok. I can make call from SIP phone to CAPI ISDN and it
seems to be ok. When I pick up fax call on voice phone I hear silent noise for
some 15 seconds. Then absolute silence with very short silent noise
intervals at random times. This lasts for another approx. 15 seconds. Call
ends after 31 seconds from beginning. Strange.

Damjan mentioned that fax sound seems to be soft. There is relative long
analog cable between ATA and fax machine - some 20 meters. But through the
same cable and same ATA faxes passes even in voice mode using asterisk
(however, not 100% reliable) so I don't think signal going from ATA to
callweaver can be significantly degraded.
