Everyone's going to have their own opinions and obviously this being the
Cambium list you'll find we're all very pro-Cambium.

If it were me, I would stop deploying ANY Ubnt APs and probably look at moving
over to ePMP as time/money permits. There is no way I would deploy anything
besides Cambium in this telco market you refer to, ideally I'd sync with them
so we can co exist and make everyone happy.

Sync is probably the biggest thing that makes Cambium scale so well. They also
figured out how to do a fantastic MAC with the same cheap hardware that
everyone else uses, so it's really the best of both worlds.

I like to spend my time growing the business and network rather than spending
it fixing what's already out there.

tldr: It is very much well worth the extra up front cost.

I'm just wondering because I'm hearing cambium has better performance and it
can push other radios aside. I am expanding into an area where the telco there
is using cambium just wanted to know if I stick with ubiquiti can my
competition equipment drown out my gear. I'm just trying to get general
feedback to see if It's worth the higher cost to use cambium in this new area?

Depends on who answers the question I suppose. Are you asking for a overall,
technical, or operative opinion?

Gentleman I have a question?

I am a new wisp and we are using ubiquiti. I just had a question what makes
Cambium a better product than ubiquiti and how do you like it's hotspot gear.
The cost difference is it justified moving to cambium.

If this is not the proper protocol of asking this question please let know if I
should just post the question.

You can definitely do port forwarding, you can even configure if you are
forwarding ports on the management VLAN separately. Sorry, I don't know offhand
about the DMZ.

Am I blind or don't these ePMP radios do any port forwarding? I
don't see DMZ either. This was not expected.

Are these features in the pipeline?
