Correct me if I am wrong, but the PDA is real Nationalistic aren’t they-like
wanting Thai F16 to bomb Cambodiain taking over some Khmer Relics on a hilltop.
And over the same thing the Democrat Party accuses Samak of selling out
Thailand and not being Nationalistic. And the coup people that the PDA
supported for a long time, they hate foreigners don’t they from being so
Nationalistic. And for years, in one Thai government after another Thai
government, they have told foreign embassies and their intelligent apparatus
not to meddle into Thai politics.
Above all else, is it not the forces of democracy and open modern society led
by Samak, fighting with the forces of Amart who are as Nationalistic as they
come in Thailand today-that is aligned with the Democrat Party?
So what on earth are these fundamentally real Nationalistic folks like the
Democrats doing accepting the US and UK, meddling in Thai politics like
accepting visits from US and UK ambassadors when the Thais are fighting it out,
perhaps tilting the fragile balance into one side?
There still remains a very hard-core group of Thais in the Thai national
Security and Intelligent apparatus that have been and will be against just this
type of meddling from foreign powers. And the Thai military must be watching
the event with wide eyes, as to the implications on the balance of power in the
region as certainly China is just about freaking out about now by these
diplomatic calls and resulting potential preferential treatment and as joint
Thai-Us military exercise getting bigger with ASEAN participations every year
that goes bye. But as we were cautioned, PDA has a very real and strong Chinese
side to it and the US and UK may just simply be trying to catch-up.Whatever,
the US, UK and Chinese are up to in Thailand, as one foreign intelligent agent
told us a very long time ago when Thailand was staerting to tear itself apart,
and I quote him, “it is getting easier to operate and get our way by the day.”
