AKP/03 PM To Participate in ACMECS and CLMV Summits in Vietnam Phnom Penh, October 30, 2008 AKP -- Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen will lead a delegation to Vietnam to participate in the third ACMECS (Ayeyawady Chaopraya Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy) to be held on Nov. 4-5, at the invitation of his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Tan Dzung. The Cambodian premier is also scheduled to participate in the Fourth CLMV (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam) Summit to be held on Nov. 6-7 in Hanoi, according to a press release of the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issued on Oct. 28. During the visit, the press release added, both sides will sign five agreements on Visa Exemption for Holders of Ordinary Passport, Transit of Goods, Railway Connecting Point, Cooperation between the Voice of Vietnam and the National Radio of Kampuchea, and Cooperation Plan on Information for the period of 2008-2010. The Cambodian delegation will include Ms. Bun Rany-Hun Sen, the premier’s wife, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Hor Namhong, Senior Minister and Commerce Minister Cham Prasidh, and other high-ranking government officials. --AKP TO ALL KHMER NEVER GIVING UP HOPE. Nov. 5, 1985 The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution A/RES/40/7, by vote of 114-21 with 16 abstentions, calling for the immediate withdrawal of all foreign forces from Cambodia. Oct. 21, 1986 The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution A/RES/41/6, by vote of 116-21 with 13 abstentions, calling for a withdrawal of Vietnamese forces from Cambodia. Oct. 14, 1987 The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution A/RES/42/3 calling for the immediate withdrawal of all foreign troops from Cambodia. Nov. 3, 1988 the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution A/RES/43/19 reiterating its call for the immediate withdrawal of all foreign troops from Cambodia.
