Japan To Provide Over US$1 Million To Support Seven Projects in Cambodia
 
Phnom Penh, October 28, 2008 AKP --
 
The Government of Japan will provide a total of US$1,099,429 to seven local 
authorities and NGOs in Cambodia through the Grant Assistance for Grassroots 
Human Security Projects ("KUSANONE" Grant).
 
The Grant Contracts were signed here on Oct. 27 between Japanese Ambassador 
H.E. Mr. Shinohara Katsuhiro, and the representatives from the recipient 
organizations. 
 
The above sum of money will be used to carry out seven projects - the Project 
for Printing Information Pamphlets for People Living with HIV/AIDS; the Project 
for Constructing School Buildings at Rolous and Kampong Po Primary Schools in 
Pursat Province; the Project for Supporting Humanitarian Mine Clearance in the 
Provinces of Battambang, Preah Vihear, Banteay Meanchey and Pailin 
Municipality; the Project for Constructing a Bridge in Chaong Maong Commune in 
Kampong Chhnang Province; the Project for Constructing Science Laboratory at 
Phnom Penh Regional Teacher Training Center; the Project for Constructing 
School Building at Dangkor Lower Secondary School in Phnom Penh Municipality; 
and the Project for Rehabilitating Kbal Tunsong Irrigation System in Kampong 
Cham Province. --AKP

WARNING CAMBODIA TODAY HAS NO SOUL.....under the Vietnamese occupation AGAINST 
THE 10 UN RESOLUTIONS....10 UN RESOLUTIONS,(1979-1988) VOTED BY 116 UN MEMBER 
COUNTRIES ,CALL VIETNAM TO CEASE HER OCCUPATION OF CAMBODIA & REMOVE ALL HER 
TROOPS FROM THE COUNTRY, ARE NOT RESPECTED AS OF TODAY. 
SUCH AS THESE : 
Nov. 14, 1979 The UN General Assembly adopts a resolution A/RES/34/22 calling 
for the immediate withdrawal of all foreign troops from Cambodia. The vote is 
91-21 with 29 abstentions. 
Nov. 5, 1985 The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution A/RES/40/7, by vote 
of 114-21 with 16 abstentions, calling for the immediate withdrawal of all 
foreign forces from Cambodia. 
Oct. 21, 1986 The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution A/RES/41/6, by vote 
of 116-21 with 13 abstentions, calling for a withdrawal of Vietnamese forces 
from Cambodia. 
Oct. 14, 1987 The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution A/RES/42/3 calling 
for the immediate withdrawal of all foreign troops from Cambodia. 
Nov. 3, 1988 the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution A/RES/43/19 
reiterating its call for the immediate withdrawal of all foreign troops from 
Cambodia. 
America calls Vietnam to restore Cambodia Independence . 
President Reagan's address to the 43d Session of the United Nations General 
Assembly in New York, New York,September 26, 1988. 
"Mr. Secretary-General, there are new hopes for Cambodia, a nation whose 
freedom and independence we seek just as avidly as we sought the freedom and 
independence of Afghanistan. We urge the rapid removal of all Vietnamese troops 
...." 
As of today,Cambodia is still occupied by the Vietnamese troops despite the 
call from the US president to Vietnam to cease her occupation of Cambodia since 
1988. 
Cambodia needs Independence from Vietnam and the Vietnamese invaders.COME HOME 
!  KONE CHAO  !  NEVER GIVING UP HOPE, COMPATRIOTS. THE LAW IS IN OUR SIDE. 
VIETNAM OCCUPATION OF CAMBODIA AGAINST THE UN CHARTER CONSTITUTES A CRIME.IT 
SHOWS THAT ALL THE VITNAMESE LEADERS ARE CRIMINALS VIS A VIS THE UN CHARTER .
