The nomenclature "Khmer Khiev" did not exist under the SRN, the term
used to designate this group is: Khmer Serey (Free Khmer). For example, we
never called Preap In etc... as being Khmer Khiev, we called them Khmer
Serey.

You may want to confirm with Sdech Ta on that. I think he uses "Khmer Bleu"
(Blue Khmer) only after 1970, to designate anybody that led to his demise
from power (i.e. Lon Nol group) - or maybe even more recently.

Similarly, Sdech Ta was known as "Le Prince Rose" (the pink prince) because
of his leaning tendency towards communist while still being a playboy.

In any case, some of the current princes and princesses should be called
"The Black Princes and Princesses" (Sdach Chet(?) Khmao) because of their
misuse of power and the sale of their souls that led to their demise from
power by Khmeng Khveal Ko (eg, Ranariddh).

Just my personal opinion,

MP
