as a khmer teenager living in america, i feel that this conversation
is really intense. i mean, yeah, not alot of khmer teenagers of this
generation know about this particular history of Cambodia because
maybe thier parents are scared to tell them. i mean how can you avoid
it though? Cambodia today is still coming out from the genocide. i
mean tell me one person who is still traumatize about the genocide.
it's in the past but one can't avoid it. in my opinion, as a student
in america but still prideful of her culture, i believe that the khmer
people only kill each other base on a certain government. but you
can't change the fact that the khmer people slaughtered each other.
