Mr. Kasit Piromya, the Thai Foreign Minister has been accused by the Thai opposition of calling Mr. Hun Sen a "gangster". In a debate in the parliament, Mr. Kasit was asked to retract his "gangster" comments against Mr. Hun Sen. In mid January 2009, Mr. Kasit has been accused by Cambodian media and internet bloggers of saying that he "wants to use Hun Sen's blood to clean his feet" during an anti-government protests at Bangkok Airport in December, 2008.
