Thank you chanthany hak =============================== Dear SRP family, I have talked with Lok Rithy who is in charge of SRP refugees in Bangkok about the situation of our activists. Lok Rithy was our SRP Vice Chief in Kompongthom Province. At this moment there are 4 families (30 persons) who were the local leaders waiting to interview from UNHCR. They are facing with daily life situation. All of them are very poor and they depence on our small contribution especialy from our headquarter in Phnom Penh. This is the heavy burden for our headquarter. The expense is 400$/4 families/month (appartment fee, water, electricity and foods). The estimate time is 6-12 monthes before they get financial support from UNHCR. A few month ago, SRP-USA (Chea Kimly), SRP-Australia (Men Vanna) and SRP-Switzerland have contributed to help them. Thanks to Bong Kimly, Lok Pou Venna and our members in Swiss. Last week, in my private vacation in Holland, Belgium and France I have told this information to our leaders and supporters in Holland and Belgium. They are willing to help. My suggestion is whether our chapters can responsible for 1 month (400$) for those families. Our small contribution is very value for their difficult life as refugees.
