You can say anything you want about the invasion by Vietnamese.
The fact is that cambodian lives were saved by that invasion. That's
the point.
Vietnam may well have the intention to take over Cambodia.
Vietnamese took everything they could when they were there.
Vietnamese did everything during the time they were in Cambodia.
However, the fact is that cambodian lives were saved.

What do you mean by WE?
You should not think about others. There are alot of people who have
chosen to forget their past in Cambodia including spoken language. I
can find many of them around.
So if you use the words WE, then you include those people too. Then
your statement would not be true.


Cambodian tradition won't be changed overnight.
The problem is not how long it would be changed. The point should be
on whether the Cambodian people have the will to change. Today,
Cambodians don't seem  to have that will.
