Meng Vimean Rothana is a very fancy Khmer name and perhaps you can recognize her last name because it is the same as Meng Keo Pich Chinda’s and wonder if they are related. The answer as you can hear in the interview video at the end of the article is yes. She is a step- sister of Meng Keo Pich Chinda - the same father but from a different mother. Meng Vimean Rothana’s father was the famous musician Meng Hun of the National School of Culture and Fine Arts. Her mother’s name is Meng Sameth. She is also a National School of Culture and Fine Arts professor. Both of them are well recognized by Khmer entertainment communities in the country for their contributions to Khmer culture and arts.
