I don't mean to insult you in anyway here. It's merely an opinion. There are great people all over the world. There are bad and good people everywhere. In Cambodian case, there are alot of bad people in the country. They corrupt and practice impunity over each other for centuries. Yet, they still think their nation is great. Now, many of them ARE LIVING overseas in other countries. They are barking at Cambodia yelling how bad it is in Cambodia. Yet, they are living in another country. Let us put two things together here. Cambodian history reflects what has happened in the last five decades. If Cambodians did not do it, who has done to Cambodia?
After saying all of these things, let me say this hopefully you would not get angry. You are living in America now, not in Cambodia. You are doing good things in America doesn't mean that you are doing good things in Cambodia. My friend, I was very angry at Cambodia one time. You can't imagine how much I hated Cambodia. What I saw one day changed all of that. I can only tell you this. Please allow people to grow as a nation in this centuries. Cambodians have adapted to this new world very well. Let the new generation run their course. Many people here seem to want the old Cambodia back. It will never happen. Lend them hands so they can make progress. Stop destroying them. Unite them instead of opposing them. You are not living in that environment. They do. If you want to participate, join them. Don't yell from a distance.
