Hello KC,

I'm travelling back and forth from Northern to Southern CA.
My son is in the process to buy his home.
Are you going to Bawng Samy's son wedding @ Grand Paradise on 9/25? Bawng Khin
is coming for this wedding.
I'm waiting for K2 to translate Acharya exam test before Itake it.

Cheers,

//P.

Lbawng Chetrasena,

I have no plan to take Acharya exam :))

As I reflected on my own life under the Khmer Rouge, in the U.S. @ San Jose
since 1984, and long into the future (assuming I live that long :), I realize
why I am very passionate about this little Cambodian-American Community of San
Jose.  It is a community that brings social change and diversity.

I did not do much. I took a tiny one, but trust that it may be the largest one
possible for now.

We have raised over $500K in the last two years to remodel our current Watt
Khmer San Jose. Every journey requires a posted destination, a planned path and
a purposeful movement. We, as the community leaders, members, friends and
supporters have done a great job.

I trust people with good moral and ethical values, wise and yet humble, open
minded, courageous, genuine, sincere, forgiving, and compassionate with
empathy--not sympathy--toward others. One who is motivated by the act of
kindness and a willingness to make a difference in someone else ‘life.

We , our community members have faith in each others...all  of us have good
hearts, care for each other’s  and will do the best to take care of one
another's well-being.  What else we need for??? We care....what matters more is
that we keep pure hearts of compassionate and wise actions.

I can only offer what I think might be helpful, but we all know what's best for
ourselves, our community.  My only wish the best for our community members is
to love & care for one another, to heal and thrive, and go forward into the
future with open hearts & minds...

However, our functional minds of having faith in each others, eventually will
lead us to understand others.  At the same time we are so blessed for having
each others to count on and work as “A Team.”

Although, “easier said, than done...”  But our simple conversations have made
all of us

So happy at hearts. When we’re able to make our community members smile and
cheers for their Happiness, in turn, all community succeeds and become our
shining stars and the ones who truly make a difference.

Sincerely yours,

//Perom

Acharya : Perom . you did good work in the temple of San Jose, I
wished I had a time to meet with you and others to chat with.
Please continue your good work and remember there are an
evil (Mara) and good (Buddha) mingling together. Do something is
better than do nothing.
Following the Buddha teaching and practicing his advise
are the best way to get rid off mara .Ayu Vannak Sukha Pala..
