Please allow me to give my two cents. First of all, Khmer Krom is not Cambodian nationals. They are Vietnamese. They may speak Cambodians. Yet, they are still Vietnamese who are living in Vietnam. Opportunities play major roles in the situation that they took for their advanture. Since many Cambodians have already accepted them to be a part of their Cambodian society, they use it for their own benefit. However, it still doesn't change the fact that they are still Vietnamese.
Second, your notion is filled with racism. It was the Chinese before. Now it is the Khmer Krom. According to your view, Cambodians must speak Cambodians clearly. Do you see it? Khmer Rouge was using it to advance their revolution movement. Sam Rainsy used it to gain votes for his political endeavor. Do you know how many ethnic Cambodians were killed by that racial notion?
