Savun,

I disagree with you. It is as much about the disputed territorial above
Preah Vihear as it is about Preah Vihear itself. Please take notes of
articles on THE NATIONS and THE BANGKOK POSTS.

It is pretty clear that the dispute is fueled and kept alived by angry PAD
supporters who have been led to believed not only that the disputed area
definitely belongs to Thailand but that they must also "retake Preah
Vihear". "Prah Viharn is ours! Prah Viharn is ours!" the message from the
Thai people who support this cause is very clear to the Cambodian people,
whether their government holds that same policy or not-- Khmer are wary and
feels insulted of the Thai opinions.

Though the Thais officially do not make the claim to Preah Vihear
internationally, the domestic politic is riddled with promises of
"reclaiming" lost territories, which also included just beneath the base of
Preah Vihear, the Temple of Keo Svakiri.

Let us not forget also that the Thais does not push forward a "joint
management" of the "disputed area" alone, but also of Preah Vihear itself,
which is reflected in the UNESCO demands to de-list the temple and have it
jointly administered.

But I do agree with Jame's view that Mr. Hun Sen is priority is completely
skewed.
