As far as I know Cambodians and Khmer are all the same. Cambodians consist of different ethnic. There is no such thing called pure Cambodians. My friend, Your view is trying to convince yourself that there is a national pride for a group of people. That group of people happen to be the Cambodian society, not a small pure Cambodian group. Beside, you are trying to distinguish between Cambodians and Vietnamese. At the same time, you count some of Cambodians to be Vitenamese too. Khmer Rouge was trying to do that and beyond.
