Increasing violence used in bid to make residents of Cambodian capital make way for developers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkSeuy1q9z8&feature=player_embedded Cambodian police have been using increasing force to thwart protesters fighting to hang on to their lands against developers looking to erect skyscrapers, shopping malls, and apartments in the Boeng-Kak Lake neighbourhood of the capital. Civil rights groups estimate that over the past decade, one in ten people in Phnom Penh alone have been forcibly evicted from their homes.
