I talked to a friend at a dinner table yesterday. We discussed about how he felt about Cambodia when he visited the country with his wife. He was amazed and enjoyed his visit with some great accommodation from his wife family. Ofcourse, that was his first time there. I offered him my opinion that there are things that he did not see. I pointed out of Corruption and Impunity. He was silent because my comments enlighten what he had not seen while he was visiting Cambodia. Actually, they were before his eyes. Yet, he didn't see it. He asked me if Cambodians will ever come out of it. I answered:" There is no hope. Cambodians corruption and Impunity are not just there. They were born with it. So it would be very difficult to come out of it." I don't whether he agreed with me or not. How about you?
