Hi Gert

Yes I would be lovely to align more of the components between Camel and
Servicemix. I do think what we can do for Camel 1.5 is to fix the bugs and
minor improvements requested.

Then for Camel 2.0 there file component could be refactored to support:
- align with SerivceMix
- a sort of Virtuel File System so FTP etc. can reuse it much more

Subject: Re: Roadmap after Camel 1.4 release

Claus,

If we start working on th File and FTP components, we should try to make
sure that they support all the use cases currently supported by the
ServiceMix JBI components. This will allow us to re-use the Camel
components inside the ServiceMix JBI components -- it makes no sense
having to maintain the core functionality of these components on both
projects, only the JBI packaging layer around is typical for ServiceMix
and would have to be maintained separately.

Regards,

Gert
