Hi Tyler,
the toothed belt , I 'm affraid, would give you more headache that you ask
for. My experience is, that doing things more complicated than the prof.
cameras have, doesn't pay off. Also from my experience, I know that sliding
standard (nylon, aluminum) with a stop knob is sure and precise enough. One
wouldn't believe how nicely you can focus just sliding the standard back and
forth. Needs to be seen to believe! George
