You start with two pieces of glass , what ever size you want and between
them you put a small amount of 600 grit silicon carbide and work the two
pieces together until you get the desired effect. I would do a random
pattern rather than say a circular motion.

Thanks, Ron, for the reminder. All I could remember was that it involved
working the glass with grit of some type. Seems to me I have heard something
about acid etching too, but not sure I remember rightly.
