First thing that comes to mind is heat, you'd need to add a piece of heat 
adsorbing glass and maybe a fan to keep things cool.  (Aristo doesn't call 
theirs a cold light head for nothing!)  I've also thought a small monitor or 
CRT would make a nice light souce you could even hook the CRT to a computer 
and program it to switch on and off in different spots to burn and dodge!!!
