I lke FP4+ in Xtol. Nice all around results. Good sharpness, nice
tight grain, smooth gradation of tones.
Tri-X in D-76. used for years. Nearly idiot proof. But somehow
there have been times I have managed to goof so badly the neg
was unprintable. ;-)
Plus-X in X-tol. similar to FP4 but I like the snap (better contrast)
that FP4 gives me vs. Plus-X.
I hear that Delta 100 in X-tol is very good but I haven't tried it yet,
but probably will soon.
Of course this will probably change now that I just purchased a
Arista Cold Light head for my D2. Argh!
