Thanks. At the moment I'm building a Bender 8x10 (from a 6-year old kit --- I don't whether his design has evolved since then). Then I'm planning to devise a metal-on-metal or rubber-on-metal "gearing" system for cameras using 1 inch square aluminum tubing as a base (possibly two rails with some way to fold it up like Seneca and similar wooden cameras}.
