Back in the mid 1960s, I had a genius here in New York named Fred
Weiss make me up a mount for a 7" Aero Ektar (for which I paid about
$35) that fitted it onto a Pentacon bellows which in turn was fitted
onto a Robot Royal. I worked out a focussing scale and it worked
beautifully for the kind of photography that I was doing then
(journalism (hah!) and industrial (another hah)). I still have some of
the negatives from when I was playing with it journalistically (a really
disgusted hah! at this point).
I lent it to a "friend" around 1966 who borrowed it for a shoot
in Montreal and that was the last I saw of either of 'em. If anyone ever
comes across the package, you'll know how it got that way.
