I have finally finished converting my 8x10 camera from a monorail to a flatbed design. The conversion serves several purposes, to make the camera more stable and to make it a little more portable. I hope to take what I have learned by doing this and make a folding 8x10 camera for my next project.
While I was at it I made a box to transport the camera. The camera weighs in at 21 pounds, the box is another 6 pounds.
