Hmm.  Well, I like the swing lens concept, so I may
build a basic body and try a couple of different lens
motion techniques (if I'm willing to put up with a
battery & motor, I think I could have the motor
driving a wheel which presses against the pivot point
-- changing the wheel size would change the exposure
speed, and a leaf switch at the end could switch off
the motor).  I have looked at the larscan plan for
building a 360 panoramic camera similar to the Cirkut,
but haven't got my head wrapped around the mechanism
yet.  I'll have to build a model and play with it...
