A question about this method, though:
Will Moz/Camino still download the content? It looks like the content gets downloaded, but just not displayed. Like with the /etc/hosts method, I'm looking for a solution that doesn't even call out to the ad servers and waste my bandwidth.
I would think if Mozilla's trunk still summons the blocked image from the ether, then that would be a bug, and needs to be reported as such about Mozilla. Seems like an easy enough fix, move the "image blocked?" question to before the "download this file" code, instead of before the "display this image" code.
