Add user_pref("accessibility.typeaheadfind.autostart", true); to your user.js preference file.

Michael

Just as an FYI, I have a "Mozilla generated" file called prefs.js in the folder that holds my prefs (xxxx.sit). This line will also function added to that file. _______________________________________________

Don't modify that file. Moz/Camino may alter it, and you could lose your stuff. The override hierarchy is:

Moz/Camino app's internal preferences->Prefs.js (generated by
Moz/Camino)->User.js (generated and edited by the user).

Use the user.js file.

Yes, I am well aware that these files need to get edited with Camino shut down. However, I have discovered something else. Very interesting. All of the entries in my "user.js" file have been added to my prefs.js file. I only really noticed this when I got last night's app and added the line to enable type ahead find. It got added to prefs.js and got alphabetized to the top of the list.

Is Camino designed to function like this?
