Like others (including some vocal posters here :-)), I'm not really
happy with Camino's tabbed browsing, especially since I switched to
Panther. I started out working on a quick and dirty patch to improve
this, and it's quickly become non-trivial. Here's a shot of what it
looks like so far: http://geoff.mollyandgeoff.com/camino-grab1.png

Sorry, as for "look" I find the current implementation looks better than that image! Your "tabs" look like links on a second line of the toolbar bookmarks.

As for functionality, I recall a Mike post about adding the close widget and a progress indicator fairly shortly. I'd MUCH rather have drag to re-arrange than a progress indicator. I'd also VERY much like to see the tab title being the same as the link name, not trying to insert the pages title name that already appears in the window title bar. Summing up (in my order of priority):

1. tabs look like they do now
2. tabs retain favicons even after a cache clear (like to see ALL favicons stored outside the cache mechanism)
4. tabs can be drag arranged
3. tabs show bookmark title as tab title
5. tabs has close box and progress indicator

BTW, you can arrange tab order by moving links in tab groups.
