Yep. From my point of view, it's not so much that they render slower or faster, but that Camino takes much longer to resolve addresses than Safari does. Even loading google.com shows a difference: for me, Camino takes a while to find the site before connecting, while with Safari it's almost instantaneous. I don't know what the cause of this is either.

I normally see a 3/4 of a second to 1 1/2 second delay where Camino is "Resolving foo.com", where as Safari is nearly instantaneous. This is really where Safari 1.2 is kicking Camino's butt speed-wise; I was actually surprised how much faster Safari seems since the 1.2 update was released.

Yes, speed isn't everything, but I hate to see Camino bested in this department. Anyone else notice this?
