Yep. From my point of view, it's not so much that they render slower or faster, but that Camino takes much longer to resolve addresses than Safari does. Even loading google.com shows a difference: for me, Camino takes a while to find the site before connecting, while with Safari it's almost instantaneous. I don't know what the cause of this is either.
I think the difference may be in how long the two browsers leave the "resolving host" string in the status bar. I'd be surprised if there really was a performance difference in the DNS lookup. Maybe someone can come up with a test to prove this?
