I do exactly the same thing, a handfull of folders in my toolbar. 
Perhaps it's time to consider merging the bookmarks menu with the Go 
menu? When people's browsing habits chanie the browser has to change 
with them. I'd also prefer the menus sorted alphabetically, it's 
espetially useful for long menus, you can type the first few letters to 
find what you're looking for. Don't know about separators though, I 
wouldn't use them.
