So far Camino has resisted a lot of add ons and extras. Using the system wide spell checker would be in keeping with that development path and relieve the programmers of either developing their own or worrying about licencing a third party system which in all likely hood not GPL'd or even dedicated open source. I think a spell checker is a great idea and maybe even essential but lets keep it within the boundaries of the project guidelines. Camino's slim profile is one of the things I like about it!
