Handing off seems pretty tricky:
1) How would feed urls be identified when you click a link? The .rss ones, maybe, but what about .xml?
2) How would the helper app be identified? From a URI scheme perspective, Camino *is* the correct helper app, since it's http, so how would it pick?
3) Do RSS readers have a standardized external interface that would allow URI handoffs?

I agree that there no need for Camino to be an RSS-Reader but either Camino should redirect the URLs to the approriate helper application or (which might be a nice feature) to simply attach an XML-Stylesheet to it to display its contents not as plain text but with some basic formatting. BTW: Some basic formatting for XML-Documents might be a nice thing anyway (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=188130).
