How could it interfere with Safari? It would only work within the
Camino  application.

IMHO, keyboard shortcuts should be standard across applications.
Command-Q Quits and application, Command-W closes the foremost open
window and so forth. Cut and paste work the same way.

Its this kind of smooth operation between applications that Mac's are
supposed to have. Having a non-standard one really messes things up.
BBedit uses Command-H for something other than hiding the application
and its a real pain. I realise you can change the behaviour but its
much preferable if the user doesn't have to change anything.. so it
just works
