Interesting... Stuart, no dueling user agents, I carefully check the prefs.js file each time so I do NOT get into a situation where this could happen (and I understand enough NOT to have the file open in BBEdit while I'm having User Agent/Camino writing to it). While I can see/understand "broken sniffing" issues, this was not an issue with 103, but seems to be an issue with 1.1b1. With 103, it DID sniff I had it set to Camino (i.e. it gave me the "you are using a non recommended browser" page) with any other I have it set to, I do NOT get the "you are using a non recommended browser" page. To their credit, that page clearly spells out all the browsers it supports.
Philippe, user agent was Camino (i.e no override in perfs.js), used User Agent to set it to FF 2, ditched the cache folder, re-launched Camino, nope, mis-renders the banking site. Confirmed that it had a user agent override in prefs/js. Can Jeff and Cameron confirm they are running Version 2007022310? Your experience mirrors what I saw with 103, it "complained about a not-recommended browser," but always 100% rendered correctly. _______________________________________________ Camino mailing list [email protected] http://mozdev.org/mailman/listinfo/camino
