With a corresponding keyboard-only shortcut I'm sure! Command-alt-[, Command-alt-[ ? > Could the tab-scrolling be made to wrap? ... > > We considered wrapping the scroll behavior, but were concerned that > it would eliminate too much of the remaining positional information > from the tab bar. I guess if I knew what you meant by "positional behaviour", I'd understand better. However, do note again, the keyboard shortcuts (-Shift-[, -Shift-]) wrap, as does the 'Window' menu's Next- and Previous-Tab. ( Oh, and I'm not bringing this to your attention so you take _this_ wrapping-around away!!! J ) And, Maybe, using the arrows to go left (or right for the matter) seems not that easy rt now 'cause the arrows are at opposite ends of the screen? Would (have you already) considered having both arrows together? Consider Tiger-Prefs: Appearance-->Place Scroll Arrows-->[Top'nBottom/Together] Again, > from the tab bar. The tab menu on the right (which is still in flux; > we are aware that it's difficult to use it to go left at the moment) Would you consider rolling the mouse-wheel anywhere over the tab-bar as a way to scroll left or right (this is irrespective of whether the arrows are there or not - just a lazy, one-hand way to quickly go thru tabs with minimum clicking and swinging around of the mouse!). > ...(no tab-resize). > > Even with tab scrolling, variable width tabs still serve a useful > purpose, so we weren't planning on changing them. Were you > envisioning tabs always being their largest size, or always being > their smallest size? I had intended the tabs-at-their-largest size - the displayed page-titles ARE helpful. If they ARE going to resize, I lean towards having largest as default, and switching, immediately, to smallest once the left/right scroll-arrows appear. The current behaviour shrinks, and then (a few more new tabs later) brings up the scroll-arrows.
