The usual log thing on android, adb logcat, should help you debug
whatever the app is doing. And given that it's just camput behind the
scenes, if need be you can just add more log.Print* statements to
wherever needed (pkg/client, cm/camput), rebuild the app, and retry.
rinse and repeat.
Just in case that wasn't clear, you run adb logcat from your computer,
with your phone usb plugged on it. you probably need usb dev debugging
enabled on the phone, or whatever it's called.
