Sorry, I did not mean to take milk away from Shamie. I was just thinking on times
when you are really full or when he already nursed on one side and he is on the other.
The more milk you use, the more milk you make. So if you have Shamie nurse then
pump, your milk supply will increase, this might also help you when you are pumping at
work. Maybe instead of wearing it all day, do you get a 30 min. break where you can
put on the pump and eat a power lunch lots of water and use some of the other
suggestions, picture of your baby and one of his baby blankets, maybe even putting on
baby lotion. When your relaxed you might have a bigger let down. I know I get so
stressed while working I would not have any milk while actually on the job, but taking
a break you would have the chance to switch over to mommy mode. You husband sounds
very supportive, can he even bring your son down once a week to nurse on your break
time, my dh use to do that for me, and it was really wonderful,!
I would nurse in our small car, down a peanut butter sandwich, nurse for 20 minutes,
then run back out to work, but oh I really enjoyed it. There are lots of ways to make
this work, don't let your mom get you down.

Oh yeah I have not tried the pump on one boobie while Shamie drinks from the
other one. I want him to get every drop out of me when he can.

                                                        Patty
