Lol! Great idea. What I did is I went into hallmark and found a sale...50% off. Got
them a silver plated cork and chilling tray for a bottle of wine for $8! Then I bought
a cheap bottle of wine (have no clue what they like) and that's that! I'm done and it
was cheap. More personal than I would have liked but nice all the same. Kim M

Ok here is my idea. Find a large glass bowl or jar and fill it with Kisses (sliver
ones for the sliver anniversary) put a silver bow on it. Not to mushy and you can eat
the extras:)

  Need a 25th wedding anniversary present. Background...for Jas's uncle and aunt..the
same ones that made my mil totally miserable with the whole cabin issues a while back.
Since they finally sold the cabin to mil, they act like none of the nasty comments
they made or they way they acted ever happened. We've had family events together since
but I can't help feeling like they'd sell us to the wind again if they could.

So, long story short, I have their wedding anniversary party this weekend (along
with my reunion) and I really don't feel like getting them anything too personal or
mushy if you know what I mean. Just giving money in a card has been suggested but
again, after the heartache over $ with the cabin issues, that's the last thing I want
to give them. I really wish I didn't have to go, but mil is going and it's her
brother. She's still pretty torqued at them but she's way too nice to show it. As she
tells me, "no matter what, it'll never be the same between us...." but she doesn't
want to cause any problems. So....what do you get a couple who you really don't like
much anymore, nor do you (or have you in the past) see them very often??? Kim M
